Video Game Console Sales Worldwide
Project description: This data visualization project is based on a Kaggle dataset. The data here-in provides a visual insight to the sales numbers across the three major console makers worldwide.
Overview
The dataset provided is already updated up to 2023 and is in an acceptable format to use directly in Tableau. The link to the dataset is provided below. This project is straighfoward, the dataset is imported in Tableau first and then the data was used to first create a Treemap and Timeline. This effectively shows the market segmentation size visually for the 3 giants of video game consoles. Secondly, the Timeline visualization provides a visual summary of each console released and the end date as well.
